Prayer

Since 2003 the Conference has had a prayer network. For 3 years this worked mainly through an email distribution system. Currently the system is being renewed, but the web is now fundamental in distribution of prayer topics.

For the English language prayer letters we are happy to have been able to count on our sister site Pray4Spain. This site is packed with all kinds of news and information of a general kind as well as specific prayer requests and prayer letters.

Should you wish to access the most recent news letter, you can find it here.

An archive of older news letters is also available, linked from the bottom of the prayer letter.

In addition, you can access the Spanish prayer calendars here.

Conference specific prayer requests

7th Evangelists' Conference, December 2008

Please pray for the next national conference, which will be held close to Madrid 5th to 8th December 2008. Currently members of the standing committee are hard at work preparing the details of the conference, as well as doing many other behind-the-scenes jobs to make sure it goes smoothly. The outcome is in the Lord's hands, but he has chosen to wrok through us and through your prayer in support of the conference.

Regional presentations

The standing committee continues to hold occasional regional presentations at meetings of pastors. The objective is to keep the churches in Spain's 17 regions up to date with developments in the Conference, as well as providing them with a broader national vision for evangelism.

Sala de Espera

The 'Waiting Room' project has got off to a good start. This magazine is being circulated by a large number of churches across the country. More info.

Zaragoza 2008

Between mid-June and mid-September, Zaragoza will be the world's water capital. The World Expo is a major event which will have water as the theme, highlighting the urgency of providing enough of it for the growing population. The evangelicals have been awarded 'Nation' status, like the Vatican, so theyare now praying for funds to pepare the pavillion and volunteers to man it over the summer. Unfortunately, work teams are not allowed, as the Expo only allows workers from recognised building firms to work on the site, so the cost of preparing the pavillion has mushroomed. In addition to providing teams and evangelists, Conference is hoping to prepare a special edition of Sala de Espera with a water theme and possibly in a bilingual (Spanish-English) version for use in Zaragoza this summer.
